Spring Break: Part One Paris

We hopped the Chunnel train under the English Channel to Paris. Once we arrived we hit the ground running and saw the most of the city of love.

The Louvre! So the museum takes forever to get through- I’ve heard three days to 3 months. But we zoomed through the highlights in 3 hours and that was great for our little family. Our tour guide was amazing. She had knowledge of so much and she brought an iPad where she connected the dots of art, history and pop culture “nothing is new…it’s all been done before”
The history of the building itself was more enough to talk about for hours.
We also zoomed through the Musee d’Orsay where the kids were troopers. And O’Neill resumed his role as the family photographer. So he took photos of ALOT of artwork!

One of the coolest things- a little shop inside the Louvre took photos of your iris then put them behind a light and then matted them and turned them into artwork. We loved it since the eye was our theme for the trip. In order from top to bottom is V, O, and R.
