Texas Tech Game

Seeing Kiko and Brook, visiting Texas Tech and Lubbock was a great time. We enjoyed the Tech game, dinner at their house and the kids loved playing on the playgrounds right outside their front door! It was great to see them!

We visited the prairie dog sanctuary - so funny to see those little animals on the prairie

Cotton and oil - a city kid's show and tell

We were able to see the kids' favorite babysitter - Katelynd at Texas Tech who is a senior this year. She showed us around the AXO house and joined us for dinner! We loved seeing her!

O'Neill draws army forts, bases, trucks and tanks - they come home in his folder almost every day - so I thought this picture is appropriate.

Texas Tech tailgate - the school wraps the statue of Will Rogers before every game.

Victoria really enjoyed herself watching the game in a box - if she has to watch football, this is definitely how she likes to watch. She loved the endless buffet, air conditioning, and clean bathrooms.

Raider Red mascot. We thought how long the mascot will be allowed to have guns as part of their costume...?

The TT band, cheer team, twirlers, color guard were all great. OSU had a great band as well and the kids were really impressed with all.

And when Victoria found out that the masked rider of the Texas Tech horse was a girl she got the idea in her head that maybe she needed to try out for that!

Thanks Brooke and Kiko!
