September and October have been busy months for the Zavalas... with the start of the school year, meeting new classmates, JZ covering his football games, and just growing life has been crazy!
We asked O what he wanted to be for Halloween and he wavered between a monster and a pirate. So JZ thought he should be William Wallace and O really enjoyed being a Scottish hero.
Enjoying the beautiful October weather in Dallas
The Arboretum opened a Children's Garden that is amazing!! It's hard to believe we could love the Arboretum more than we already did... O and his friend Luke playing in the sand after they got their clothes soaked in the water
O visiting the Perot Museum - his favorite part is the water table and truck, of course...
We waited in line forever to ride the pony and when it was O's turn he didn't want to ride. V was excited and always loves the animals. For her school career day she told everyone she wanted to be a Vet.
SMU Mustang football game! The kids had a ball!!! They loved seeing the band, the cheerleaders, the half time show and of course the football players. The best part about the game was that they were able to run around on the green doing rolly pollies and following the leader... can't wait for the next one.
They kids had been to a few paint your pumpkin parties and they are always a blast seeing their little creations - our backyard is full of pumpkin masterpieces. O and his friend Mary Clare playing the trumpets...
Licking the plate clean!
At Jump Zone with Anderson and they found the race car video games...
A neighborhood friend opened up the Bake and Play Cafe where kids can play on an indoor playground with toys and dress-up, have lunch and decorate a cookie or cupcake... sooo cute
I love the downtown park that connect Uptown with Downtown and covers the freeway. Every time we go there is always something new to do. This time there were blue foam blocks for kids to play with and O had a ball with the ball slide.
Papa and Cecie took V to see The Cat and the Hat play at the Children Theater. It was such a special treat and she loved seeing her story come to life.
It's October and that means Halloween and the Texas State Fair. JZ and I took V for a quick trip when we were headed to see The Lion King. he favorite part was the car building - the Fiat is her favorite of course!!
O is such a flirt and loves playing with his girls. He is kicking the ball to Julia while the big sisters were playing their Saturday games. O and our neighbor Lena at a block party. Somehow he has picked the Denver Broncos as his favorite team and loves the Manning family.
We hosted Victoria's class for a pumpkin painting party and the orange frosting was the best part!!
