Summertime!

Summertime has been a blast and it isn't over yet!

Victoria and her teacher, Ms Amanda, on the last day of school for splash day
O'Neill and Dada playing while waiting for O'Neill's ear surgery.
Fish face...messy face
The children were too quiet while I was getting ready in the cloest - So I checked the bathroom and found Victoria putting make-up on O'Neill. It was so funny, I tried not to laugh and ran and got the camera. First bows, now make-up, what is next?

He has SO much hair!! And it has blonde highlights -
This is how Victoria hugs her brother...
...and then slams him in the ground

Fourth of July

Fourth of July at Lakewood. The front lawn of the Davis house was used to host the LECPTA parade watching party - it was a blast with sno cones, a bounce house, friends and family (and port-o-potties). John and Christie housed the LECPTA float that was so cute! Victoria's favorite part of the day was getting candy at the parade. After the paraade and party, we all took naps, went swimming and Victoria watched her first fireworks. (Papa and Cecie were nice enough to watch O'Neill while we stayed up watching the fireworks) It was great to have a low-key holiday that was so much fun!

ITALY!

ITLAY 2012!! The Zavala family packed up and traveled 22 hours to attend the Davis Family trip. Villa de Sephore in Cortona Tuscany (the city where the book Under the Tuscan Sun was written) was a "pink castle" where we called home. It was huge and very medival - Victoria thought it was hilarious and she still talks about what she will bring to Italy "next time". O'Neill and Victoria were actually wonderful travelers - the usual challenges were there but that just added some drama. The kiddos LOVED playing with their cousins, but wish they could have stayed at the villa longer. And Victoria was so sad Kate and Allison couldn't make it but said they will have to visit us in Dallas. The countryside was just beautiful!

Playing with the Hendersons - one of Victoria's best days!

Elise jumping in the pool. The Henderson girls were a big influence on Victoria -
a little cousin pressure was great for her swimming and her confidence

Then Victoria want to fly, too!

The family!

Victoria in the town square (must have been between the hours of 1-4
when nothing is open and everyone is escaping the heat)

Gelato!!!
The cousins - the best flavor was lemon (so refreshing)
but Victoria loved them all!
Camille just cracks me up - she made me laugh the whole time!
Here she is riding the gelato bicycle,
After Victoria hung out with Camille - Victoria was posing for the camera too
O'Neill was such a trooper!

We traveled hard getting seeing all that we could

Florence! We saw the Duomo and Baptistry, Piazza della Republica, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, and the famous pig!

Aunt Shannon gave Victoria an orange dress to match the Henderson girls
and people actually thought Victoria was apart of the Hendersons! HA!
I'll take 'em all home to Dallas!

The carousel was a hit - like an oasis in a desert of old buildings

Charlotte was such a great big cousin to O'Neill...
Actually they all loved having a baby around, they wanted to pick him up,
play with him, fedd him...so fun!

Sisters!

Victoria loves chalk and really enjoyed seeing how artists used it to
create gorgeous pictures. And she and her cousins got to chalk with them
