Our New Normal

A few weeks into school and we are finding our new normal; multiple carpools, after school activities, homework galore, practices, nanny share, playdates... just another day living the dream.

These two pictures just about sum up these two girls and their fabulous and unique personalities. These two are literally my bathing beauties!

These girls are getting ready for their walk down the isle as flower girls. They are excited to twirl around the dance floor and finally go to the "party" and not just the church.

Truman is becoming a fast friend of O'Neill's - we took a trip to the bowling alley while Victoria had a SJE bowling party.

Tru and O playing after baseball practice.

V and her best horse Duke

Can't take the craziness out of these two - dress up dance party is always in fashion.

Happy Girl

Oh O!!! O'Neill fell and hit his tooth on wooden stairs. The tooth is dying/dead and has turned some crazy colors. It should fall out when ready - just have to keep it from getting infected or they will pull it! ouch! Ironically he hasn't lost any teeth so far! He's one of the few who still has all his baby teeth.

She's back for more dance and ready for the lights and all the action!
Get this girl a beat. Tap and Ballet!!

First year in gymnastics and this girl is strong! She's definitely got the attitude.

She's serious about this.

SMU football is here and our tailgate is open. As the kids get older it gets better!

St. Mark's had their lower school Fun Day: there are no pictures of O'Neill because he was gone with his friends the minute we got there.

O and Jensen in class - building a house for the three little pigs - it survived the big bad wolf (the hair dryer)

O'Neill plays in the sandbox every recess with a little group of boys - and when he gets home he dumps out maybe 8 tablespoons of sand from his shoes.

O and his senior buddy Ben

O and his pals at St Mark's Spirit Night

The girls watching the cheerleaders and getting into the Lion spirit

O checking out the cheerleaders...

...and checking out the game. He was so serious about the football game - making sure we weren't late, sitting on the sidelines and keeping score.

Spirit tunnel introducing the new boys

Victoria and the other sisters were in charge of taking pictures while the parents were busy with the boys.

Fall in Texas and it is still 90 degrees

First Day of School

This year we have each kid in a different school. Three weeks in and it's been a little crazy to say the least - even with carpools and well, one kid is only in PK. V and O like their new school and I just hope it continues! I've already seen both kids grow in just a few weeks - so proud of them!

Victoria and her first day at St. John's for THIRD GRADE!

O'Neill and his FIRST DAY of St. Mark's FIRST GRADE.

His homeroom teacher Mrs. Broom.

Picture Day

Fast friends, Truman Sun and Connor Pauley

Rebecca had her FIRST DAY in PK3 at Skillman. She is in a class of 6 boys and 3 girls who are the youngest of 3.She was stealing her neighbor's play dough when I left. She's our Boss Baby.

Her friend Emma at the arboretum.

Looking for bugs at the park while sister is at riding lessons. This boy loves looking for bugs - and checks out only bug books from the library! I love it!
