Happy Baby!

Victoria is starting to smile and coo! She is discovering so many new things and is growing like a weed. She's already out of her newborn clothes and is "rounding out" nicely! She is such a happy baby, but don't mess with her feeding schedule or she will show you the power of her vocal chords.



Her eyes are getting lighter - I think she gets these from her Grandmother Zavala who has ice blue eyes.

Our healthy girl is growing out of her newborn wardrobe; eventhough her legs are a little bent in this picture you can see is she getting some long legs.

Finally! Victoria loves her bath! She especially loves the running water on her head - like she's at the beauty parlor gettin' her hair did!

Victoria Visits the Monuments

The first weekend of Spring brought lots of sunshine to Washington DC and Victoria visited a few of the monuments! Here's Victoria at the Lincoln...

She even visited the WWII Memorial...

Victoria paid her respect to those service members who served from the state she lives in and those who served in the state she will soon live and one state she might live... ;)

She visited the Mall and in the background you can see the Capitol. She didn't want to get closer because she was a little upset at Congress...

Happy St. Patrick's Day

She's got her green on! Victoria is sporting some authentic Irish gear Grandmother Zavala brought back from Ireland. Victoria can't wait to meet the GZs! And Aunt Jessica gave her the green and white knit jumperoo in honor of her heritage before Victoria was even born. And the grandmother of cousin Katherine handmade the beautiful quilt in the background! It represents Texas' state flower that VZ will get to see when she visits Texas in April! Victoria is so blessed to have so many people love her!
