Back At It

Here we go - school year 2021. Who would have thought we would still be at the same exact place as the previous 18 months. These kids have done such a great job bouncing back and going with the flow. I worry so much about their mental health but I really hope to make this time healthy for them. 

O'Neill literally poked his eye with the end of an arrow - completely cut the white part of his eye. Luckily after three doctor visits he is ok. whew! But talk about scary.

Football is BACK

...and so it the face painting and tail gating and boulevarding

SMTX Choir is happening and O'Neill is enjoying his first year - the choir director is amazing and gets these boys to sound like angels.

Turks and Caicos

So glad we traveled and got out of the country to the paradise of Turks and Caicos. It was a little bit of a gamble and they didn't make it easy but glad we did because now you have to be vaccinated to travel to the island. We had a great time exploring, playing, collecting shells and relaxing.

The conch trip was the best thing - we snorkeled and found the conchs. Then the captain and first mate took the meat out of the shell and made conch ceviche with bell peppers and onions while we looked for shells and enjoyed the turquoise waters. 

Beaches was a gamble but was perfect for our family. We stayed in the Italian Village with the best swim up bars. We walked to the French Village, the Caribbean Village, and Key West for restaurants, shops and entertainment.
