Monster Truck Jam

The Monster Truck Jam was LOUD! O'Neill's favorite truck, Monster Mutt, who is a dog truck won the freestyle! We saw trucks doing back flips, sky high jumps, wheels come off and trucks flipped over.  It was a late night with two sleepy babies in the car on the way home.
Oh and one order of cotton candy and one snow cone cost $30! seriously. It was an expensive night with tickets and parking. AT&T Stadium is a racket!

Mardi Gras!!

The Zavala clan drove to New Orleans for Mardi Gras! JZ was apart of the Tucks Crewe and boarded the float with buddy Rand Wrighton. Both families brought the kids and it was a blast - super kid friendly! Rand is from NOLA and his family hosted us in true southern style. Friday we saw 1 parade and Saturday we saw 3 parades - and everyone got hit in the face with beads! The kids sat on the ladders while Meredith and I caught the beads from behind. It was Presidents' Weekend, Valentine's Day, Rebecca'a birthday, and of course Mardi Gras - with perfect weather! It was filled with king cake, beignets, gumbo, red beans and rice, and jambalaya... it was fun.

The boys

The moms awaiting the boys on the float catching beads.

A birthday float for my birthday girl!

O'Neill's favorite float was the pirate ship.

My girls - watching the parade from our hotel room.

Victoria's favorite part of the trip was exploring the hotel and room service.

The ladders!

King cake in the lobby!

Birthday Girls!

Victoria celebrated her birthday in Austin, at school and at Pump It Up! She has grown into such a beautiful, smart, and kind 6 year-old. She has come into her own personality and is more adventurous than ever; she loves to travel and try new things! I am so amazed by her memory (because I can barely remember anything). She really has a great sense of humor and thinks of others often- especially her brother and sister. She is my sensitive one, soft spoken and likes to be spend time alone. She enjoys playing with animals (plastic or stuffed) and drawing (it is her way to relax). Her most favorite thing in the world is CANDY. She is my long tall Texas princess: 48 inches tall, 52 pounds - 97 percentile. My Victoria, my victory XOXO

Her birthday present from the Davises was Glamour- the stuffy cat! She loved it so much she took about 25 pictures of it!

 Craft time!
 What up, Cuz!

Pump It Up birthday- she enjoyed running around and was so brave going down the largest slides and going to fast!

Favorite cousin Kate!

Little sister had a little party of her own a few days before her actual birthday.
She loved the cake - ALOT
