A great adventure awaited us in Breckenridge CO. We met up with a few Dallas families including, The Mullens, Jones, Lonergans, and Saenz. After being isolated it was good to have a sense of community.
The Blue River was a fun place to act like a kid
Searching for gold. They found gold flakes, pyrite and quartz.
The mask mandate was in effect for Breck - We got used to it and the buff was a help as we kept it around our neck and then pulled it over our face when needed.
We went into one of the oldest gold mines in CO. It was very insightful especially since the kids have toured a coal mine in Ireland. It was interesting to see the contrast.
After a little confusion where exactly we were staying we ended up with a great place - big enough and close to town.
Ice cream every day!
