The Austin cousins came to visit Papa and Cecie and the Zavala crew in Dallas. We went to the fair! It was the first time we had seen the sun in weeks and it was a gorgeous day to be outside. We tried fried Oreos, fried Twinkies and of course we had a Fletcher's corny dog. Our first stop was the Midway but we did manage to see some animals, crafts and cars.
Papa's long time friend, Jimmy Squires, had a wood carving displayed at the fair. He won a blue ribbon. Next year, Zavalas, next year...
