Happy Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Birthday

What a Christmas, New Year and Birthdays! John was busy working at the hospital for three weeks straight except Christmas Day so we truly enjoyed our Christmas Day. Christmas Eve was spent at Cecie and Papa's with Nana and Abuelo. The biggest hit was the gift of a look a like real dog that looks like it is breathing! V and O loved it! And even the baby got a pink poodle puppet and she still sleeps with it. We celebrated with our families and enjoyed the warm weather. The kids were so excited about Christmas it was the such a fun few days!

Christmas Eve

Love Brownie and Scarlet which was later named Chloe so much they sleep with them still!

 Christmas Morning!

Cecie's Birthday!

O'Neill wanted a remote controlled car - so he got three including a power wheel

He also wanted a bike with training wheels. He was a little confused because I think he wanted a new bike without training wheels but we told him he had to "earn" those
Favorite gifts! Stroller and shopping cart

V and O were so sweet to R helping her rip open the wrapping paper but then after a while she got the hang of it!

Victoria had a horse theme this Christmas

R eating Santa's cookies for breakfast

Dad's gift of BB8 from Star Wars

Pink Princess Castle!

Clark Griswald in the flesh!

Christmas dinner. Next year I might just call it in!

Swimming on Christmas night - I think this is a new tradition!

The elf, Sprinkle Sparkles, was not much help this Christmas season, the kids were just too excited about Christmas for life to be normal. Better luck next year Sprinkle Sparkles.

R got a dance mat from Cecie and it was a hit!!

On Dec 26 our area was struck by serious tornadoes! We turned on the news and saw this: a red circle around our neighborhood!!! So we got under our stairs - unfortunately we did not plan well - we didn't have shoes on, the baby was in a diaper after taking off her dress up clothes, Victoria brought her toys inside, I mean we were really not prepared for such a serious weather threat.

The week after…

Trip to the art museum to see the Jackson Pollock exhibit

Craft Time - O'Neill was painting his plaster mold of dinosaur bones

Lego Time

It's all about the horses. Victoria participated in a three day horse camp and she even let lil sister ride her favorite horse, Cookie! What a sweet big sister.  And she even gives lil sister a personal ride on her back.

Science Experiment

I go to my bed and this is what I find - these little ones missed their dad

Back and Play Cafe

Taking it to the Streets!

This one seriously can strike a pose when the camera is near. She will just stand and say cheese until you take her picture.

So R is so jealous her siblings can ride bikes or peddle cars so she hoped on her sisters old bike and demanded to ride. She needs more practice by pretty good for her first try.

Everyone was getting a little sick so Chef O'Neill made fresh OJ.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! JZ and I celebrated at the Lakewood Country Club with Kiko, Brook, Cecie and Papa and 300 of our closest friends. JZ was on call for the second year in a row. The next day we went over to the Wrighton's for pure southern New Years food.

On the 12th day of Christmas, JZ was born! This is JZ's last year in his 30s!

Party of five!
