Easter with Victoria

Easter with Victoria was so much fun! She was so small last year (just 2 months old) we didn't introduce her to bunnies, eggs and chicks. But this year we snuggled with bunnies and practiced "hunting" and opening eggs. The practice rounds of hunting for eggs didn't really pay off since Victoria is not indepently mobile, and she would rather shake the eggs instead of open them. But she sure looked festive in her Easter outfits :)

Sunday brunch with the Krause and Clark family.

Eggcelent Easter Egg hunt at Heritage Park. Over 30,000 eggs where "hidden by air" and Victoria crawled to pick up 5 eggs to put in her basket. Well done, Honey.

Her 5 eggs!

Tyler and Victoria!
Victoria had some lunch and a quick nap and was off to her second egg hunt. She wore the beautiful bonnet that Cecie made for her mama! It is still gorgeous after 30 something years :)

After Victoria changed into some comfortable clothes and had a long nap, she dove into her Easter basket to find a few fun toys. She wasn't interested in any of them - just a duck with bunny ears. Her mother, on the other hand, thought she was a cattle rancher and played the harmonica continuously for about 15 minutes.

Working on her walk...

Good Friday practice egg hunt at Lily's house. We had a playdate where they decorated Easter sacks and where Victoria decided to bite off a sizable chunk of blue crayon. Here is Emery handing Victoria an egg.
