The Zavala Senoritas

Victoria loves her little sister; she's such a great role model for our little bebe and still likes it when they dress the same. Yo amo mis hijas

Victoria and JZ spent two nights at Camp Grady Spruce in a Y Guides campout (formerly known as Indian Princesses). Victoria's camp name is Princess Singing Parrot. JZ's name is Bear Who Walks Softly. This is their second campout and so far they say it was the best. They did archery, BB Guns, Fishing, and Horse Riding with her horse named Cheyenne. I remember these campouts with Papa and I'm so glad V and JZ get to do this.

Dog Bite

Three weeks have passed since O'Neill was attacked by a strange dog on a restaurant patio. We have watched the surveillance video and it shows he never touched the dog. The dog was not in control by the dog watchers who were babysitting the dog for the dog owner who was not there. I was by myself with the children and luckily John was close enough to rush him to the hospital where he met a plastic surgeon who sewed him up with 10 stitches. Since then he has been on antibiotics twice a day for two weeks and changing bandages twice daily. Now we are applying scar creams, gels, silicon strips, serious sunscreen to keep the wound from seriously scaring. Today O'Neill is very cautious around dogs and when we are in public places where dogs are present he wants to be held or at the very least wants someone to hold his hand. His behavior has shifted being more aggressive and with a shorter temper. I hope this will only be a speed bump in his life's story.

Pasadena Snow Cone Store

Victoria wanted to set up a snow cone stand. Totally her idea - she priced the product at 15 cents, made the sign, and counted out her change. She told O he could work with her for unlimited snow cones. The shop was opened for business for just 30 short minutes and they were sold out of product! It was such a blast that V wants to open shop all summer.
