Spring Break: Part 2 Paris

The kids realllly wanted to take scooters to the Arc de Triomphe. So after downloading multiple
Apps, typing in multiple credit card numbers (who know how much those rides even cost) and finally figuring out where to go… we risked our lives in the busy streets of the city center of Paris! We finally made it to our destination safely and in one piece.

Stopped by the Diana memorial where her car crashed. Rebecca put a lock in hopes to return to Paris.

St Patrick’s Day in Paris at the Eiffel Tower was a dream. We had the most luxurious lunch (where we got to skip the lines) at Madame Brasserie.  They were working on the tower installing a new elevator in preparation of the summer Olympics in 24. What a fabulous way to introduce such an iconic landmark to the Zavala kids. What a special special treat!

We toured the Catacombs under the city of Paris. Sort of Wierd but for an orthopedic doctor it seemed normal. Thank goodness we had a great private tour who showed us the coolest stuff off the beaten path and wove in three centuries of history. He was fabulous. Pretty crazy how death was such apart of how people lived back in the day- they really had to think about it much more than I think we do today.

We could have had the word “tourist” tattooed on our foreheads. We did all things touristy- and it was fantastic!!!! One of the favorite things was a riverboat dinner cruise - it was simply gorgeous- it was raining so it added ambiance of raindrops on the glass rooftop. It stopped just in time for pictures. The food was amazing with escargot and champagne and baguette and crème brûlée … oh la la! The sights on the Seine were just perfect!

I love taking these little pedicabs!!
