Stonehenge was in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by green fields and lots of sheep- a lot like Ireland. Nobody knows the story about how they came about so we had fun making up hypothesizes… it was on this little trip that O’Neill really wanted to take control of taking photos. He was getting artsy and trying to capture the moment. The weather was actually pretty perfect! A little chilly, then sun, then rain then sun again.
What a trip- London was busy. Next trip we will visit the smaller towns! Maybe pass through to Scotland?

Stonehenge was carefully designed to align with the movements of the sun. The enormous sarsen stones and smaller bluestones, set up in the centre of the site in about 2500 BC, were precisely arranged to frame two particular events in the year: the sunrise at summer solstice, and the sunset at winter solstice.
St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in England is a castle chapel built in the late-medieval Perpendicular Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar (a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch) and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter.

Instantly recognizable, the White Tower is the most famous castle keep in the world. It was built to awe, subdue and terrify Londoners and to deter foreign invaders.
