Our Valentine turns 5!!!
We take Valentines very seriously around here. I can't believe our party of 5 is headed to Kindergarten next year. She is definitely a leader. She loves unicorns, drawing hearts, writing her name, scootering, LEGOS, anything to do with art. She is my fashionista and someone who is tough, strong and well, simply amazing at 5.
Woke me up early to make homemade Mini Poptarts.
The number 5 kept falling over with Dallas' crazy windy days. It was hilarious - the number kept falling over.
Had a fabulous Valentine celebration at Oishi sushi restaurant. This is THE best seafood restaurant that we quite honestly just found. We know the owner as Ty's dad but never ventured to Tham's place and we are the last to find out about this hidden secret. So fun! Very yummy and super fresh.
Rebecca got Calico Critters for her birthday present and O'Neill and Victoria both played with the whole set for days! When Victoria asked if she could get some Calico Critters for her birthday I knew it was a hit!
Unicorn charm necklace
The chocolate fountain was a hit!
Rebeca had her official party at the pottery paint place where her guest painted pottery and picked them up a couple days later.
My gorgeous Victoria finding rose petals on her bed before bedtime on V-Day
...and Rebecca too
Oh! and we had some friends spend the night over the holiday and play Pictionary! It was hilarious
This girl knows how to get a crowd - everyone replied yes to her party! Ms. Congeniality
Oh the cake! SO it took the talents of Victoria to bake the cake, JZ to ice the cake, a friend Jill Jones to help with the piping, mom, and Rebecca to get this cake in yummy order! This cake weighed maybe 20 pounds! it was covered with icing, fondant, buttercream, sugar flowers/ it had four layers on the bottom and five rainbow layer on the top! So fun to make but seriously it took all day!
4th grade Valentine party! It's the last one she will get. She starts 5th grade next year and they don't have parties :( And sweet Victoria and I forgot about the free dress day they had and she improved free dress day with some athletic clothes she had in her locker!
O'Neill painted a guitar in honor of School of Rock (although he plays the drums) and Victoria painted a dog bowl in replacement of the dog bowl she painted a few year ago (because it broke) And Rebecca painted a unicorn
