Butterfly Garden and The Fresh Beat Band

O toured the Butterfly Garden at Fair Park and loved it. There are so many butterflies; they land all over you and O loved how they tickled.

V was treated like a rock star to celebrate a friend's birthday. The group of 6 girls and their moms road in a stretch hummer to see The Fresh Beat Band in concert. There they had dinner and cupcakes in their own private box. V doesn't know much about The Fresh Beat Band but that didn't stop her from dancing and having a good time.

Playing at the Zoo

The zoo is the best place on earth - well - the merry go round.

Halloween

Victoria was Ariel the littlest mermaid and O'Neill was a shark. They had parties and parties and more parties then trick or treating. They ate so much candy, cookies, and cupcakes they haven't asked for a piece since.

O'Neill loved passing out candy to the trick or treaters that came to our house. Victoria loved sitting back and eating some hard earned trick or treating candy.

O'Neill's friends having a little Halloween get together. Everyone came dressed except O who refused to wear his costume.

Victoria and O went to the LCC for the Halloween party. V and O loved dancing on the dance floor!

O took his costume off about 10 minutes into the party.

Weekend Fun

SMU Homecoming, Soccer, Science Birthday Party and our annual Pumpkin Carving Party. V and O had a great day collecting candy at the homecoming parade and watching some football. There was a First Lady Laura Bush sighting having lunch in Snyder Plaza. And the kids loved running around the green space while the Mustangs played Temple.

The cutest birthday party we have been to in a while was a science birthday party where the Lakewood Lab came and helped the kids do experiments. Victoria had a blast and recognized some of her summer camp teachers. I loved the lab coats and glasses. V will have to get used to wearing glasses since she will not doubt wear them in the future since she inherited poor eyesight from her parents.

We hosted our annual pumpkin carving party where our friends and neighbors came over to carve pumpkins. (Sharp knives, alcohol, children and a pool is a little dangerous when it comes to hosting a party but so far no accidents)

Victoria was so focused creating a pumpkin masterpiece; she worked on it for an hour by herself.
