Butterflies

Victoria had an up close and personal encounter with butterflies in Ashville, NC. We traveled to the nature preserve with another wife of a Steadman Hawkins fellow and her family. It was so fun! Victoria kept swatting and trying to grab the bright colored flying things...

Movin' to South Carolina

Greenville, South Carolina - we are here! And it is precious! I hope we have many visitors. Our first visitors arrived shortly after we did to help hang pictures, drapes and help discover this city. Thank you mom and dad for coming! A few pictures of our recent adventure:

Our new home.

Cecie is a great grandmother; Victoria loves to be around Cecie! Anything Victoria Ford wants, Cecie's got it covered.
Papa is great with Victoria - he's had some pratice with all the girls and grandgirls in the family :)
Papa and Cecie reading to Victoria. Victoria has alot to live up to - Papa and Cecie are avid readers!

A cosmo and an Avent bottle -how appropriate. We celebrated Victoria's 6 month birthday at one of the best restaurants in Greenville. It was so good I forgot we where in little ole' Greenville.

Southern Belle: Victoria Ford at 6 month; what a sweet shuga bear!

Happy Baby! She's got a few tickle spots!

In downtown Greenville and Falls Park. We discovered the best restaurants, the cutest farmers' market, great theater and wonderful surroundings.

My Mom Rocks! Victoria is growing fast and furious - this outfit is a little small as it barely covers her little belly :) She's sportin' the Britney Spears mid-drift look.

She's found her feet!

The first encounter with cereal! She loved it! And let me tell you, she is no shrinking violet. She mastered the spoon and cereal in just two bites. She is definately her mother's daughter - don't mess with us when it comes to food :)

Little Victoria taking some time out to catch up on some light reading...

Daddy putting together the crib at 10:00pm when the movers are STILL moving our stuff off the truck.

Waiting for the movers to come...

We made it!!!!

Back in Virginia movin' out - watching our stuff fill the truck. Thank you to the Reardon family for letting us stay at their home.

Family Vacation in the Hamptons

The family vacation to Long Island's Quogue was such a treat! Papa and Cecie hosted the Davises, Henderson's, Zavala's, Whitfield and Walter's! With 8 kids under the age of 6 and 12 adults it was a little crazy... talk about quality family time! The days of our summer vacation consisted of tennis, swimming, beach, sightseeing and trying to get the kite flying...here are some photos:

Victoria on the beach of South Hampton. In the shade of course!

Shannon, Elise, and Elise's tounge.

The Zavala family at South Hampton's beach...still looking for Christie Brinkley.

Summer Lovin'

Victoria headed down to Dallas for three weeks while Dad studied to become a board certified doctor. As a veteran flier she was great and was so excited to see family and friends. She had some summer lovin' in the Texas heat.

Victoria and Whitley on a playdate!

Victoria is all smiles!!

Victoria had lunch with Cline and Aunt Lauren at LCC. In fact Victoria spent most of her days at the club...hmmm, I wonder where she got that from?

Cousin Katherine is such a great role model for Victoria; Katherine has a great vocabulary and every time she saw Victoria she'd say "There's a BAaaaaBY!"

Victoria was so lucky to see her Grandpa Zavala many times while she was in town! At first the meeting was a little bittersweet, but near the end of her stay she was butter in his arms!

Big Keeks was sweet with Victoria, but is more comfortable holding a beer :)
